I strategized and launched Curated Cultural Experiences for the Rock Family of Companies to help foster an inclusive environment through awareness, education and team member engagement. These experiences were developed for our Detroit team members located at our headquarters, but also for Phoenix, AZ and Charlotte, NC. Below is an example of the framework I created for the series :
Black History Month - Celebrating The Culture| Past Present and Future
This years theme was Black Migrations, which emphasizes the movement of African descent people to new destinations and new social realities from twentieth century to present day. The experience was curated in partnership with designers, event managers, and African American team members.

Playlists by | our African American Employee Resource Group curated Black History Month playlist via spotify through February that plays multiple genres that were created by African Americans. Rather jazz, blues, rock & roll, funk, hip hop and R&B or techno, we’re playing it all through Downtown Detroit for the month (listen below)
